Free TF-IDF tool
Words your competitors use that your page leaves out. You need: your page address, a keyword and up to five competitor pages. About half a minute.
Your result will show here.
Want us to fix this?
A result is only useful when something changes. We can take the keywords and content fixes off your list, show you each change first, and send a plain monthly report.
What the TF-IDF tool does
TF-IDF is a way to find words that matter on a page. A word counts for more when it appears often on a page but is not common everywhere. This tool reads your page and up to five competitor pages for the same keyword, then lists the terms they use that you do not, or use far less. It shows each term’s use on your page and theirs, how many competitors use it, and the size of the gap.
What you see in the result
- Terms competitors use that your page leaves out or barely mentions
- Your count and their count for each term, side by side
- How many of the competitor pages use each term
- Which competitor pages were read and which were skipped, with the reason
Why it matters for a local business
Pages that rank well for a topic usually cover it fully, with the questions, parts and words a customer expects. If three competitors all mention “permit”, “warranty” and “same day” and you do not, a reader may think your page is thinner. The gap list is a plain, ordered set of topics to add. It saves hours of reading competitor pages by hand.
How to get the most from it
You need: your page address, a keyword and up to five competitor pages. Time: about half a minute.
- Choose competitors that really show above you for this keyword in your area.
- Add terms only where they fit what you really do. Never claim a service you do not offer.
- Work down the biggest gaps first, and write for the reader, not the list.
What it does not do
It reads at most five public pages and skips any that block automated visits. The list shows gaps in wording, not proof that adding a word will improve results.
Questions
What does TF-IDF stand for?
Term frequency and inverse document frequency. In plain words, it finds terms that matter on a page without being common everywhere.
How many competitors can I add?
Up to five. More pages would slow the check and make the list noisy.
Should I copy my competitors’ wording?
No. Use the list as a reminder of topics to cover, and write them in your own words.
Is the TF-IDF tool free?
Yes. You get 3 free checks a day with no sign-up. A repeat of the same check within a day is not counted.
What do you do with my details?
We use them only to run the check and send what you asked for. No list selling, and you can unsubscribe any time.
